COOL SHOT FROM THE MIST!

Timmy just ran across this uber cool shot of Tom, Frank Darabont and Chris Owens from the Mist. Check out Chris' gory battle wound-gotta love it! Hafta admit, THE MIST is one of my faves. But what do you guys think?
Honestly, I hated the ending the first time I saw it. Not because, I thought that it was a bad ending, it’s just that I so totally disagree with the characters actions. At first I was just PISSED… But the ending stuck with me and made me think. I just kept mulling it over… I thought at the time (and still feel) that his actions were weak, not heroic at all. And finally I realised, that although I don’t agree with the characters actions, the ending, after all was said and done, was pretty damned good.
LOVED IT! Obviously it’s a love-or-hate kinda thing (with most endings that do something different) but I loved it. It was so impacting and brutally true… the emotion in those final scenes was CRAZY
I pride myself in being a manly man, but god damn if that ending didn’t TEAR my fucking heart apart. Damn, well done! One of the most shocking, surprising and awesome endings out there… ever.
The Mist was a bold film. I don’t think you were supposed to like the ending. It wasn’t meant to be heroic, but tragic, heart breaking and disturbing. A brave creative choice, and to this day, one of my favorite Jane performances. I think it was a home run for him.
I think it was a great show. It is now one of my collection movies. Will watch it again and again. Hope to see more movies of Thomas Jane.
